How do I use my hot tub safely?

Never leave children unattended in the hot tub. For everyone's safety, we recommend that you never bathe alone in the hot tub, as there is always a risk of slipping and illness. After bathing, make sure that no children or animals can fall into the tub. Place the hot tub so that there is no risk of fire, sparks from the flue can ignite surrounding vegetation and buildings. Therefore, never leave a burning stove unattended and remember that the risk increases in windy conditions.

Remember to remove the protective plastic from the flue before use. Use the protective gloves provided to avoid leaving fingerprints on the pipe. If fingerprints are left, they are easily removed with, for example, T-spirit BEFORE heating the stove.

Never fire the stove unless the barrel is filled with water to at least 30 cm below the top of the stove. Make sure that the bottom valve is not opened involuntarily during firing.

Always check that the flue pipe is drawing air out of the stove before you start adding more fuel, as there is a risk of damage to the stove if the airflow is reversed.

The barrel must never be emptied of water or covered with a lid or canopy as long as there are embers in the stove. This can take several days. The bath water can be covered as long as the stove and chimney are free of external materials.

Refrain from or drink alcohol in moderation when bathing and use plastic glasses, bowls and the like to avoid the risk of glass in the bath water.
