If we extend the period, we will inform you within the first month and explain the reason for the extension.

1.2 Sanctions, export controls and permitted deliveries

Nordkapp.NU welcomes customers in all markets where we can lawfully sell and deliver our products. We comply with applicable sanctions, export-control rules, payment rules and other mandatory requirements under EU law, Swedish law and decisions by competent authorities.

We do not deliver to Russia or Belarus. We also do not accept orders, payments or deliveries where the buyer, payer, recipient, delivery address, end user or intended use would make the transaction prohibited or restricted under applicable sanctions, export-control rules, payment rules or other legal requirements.

This restriction is not based on language, nationality or origin. It applies only where a transaction, delivery, payment or business relationship is prohibited, restricted or may reasonably be suspected of circumventing applicable sanctions, export-control rules or other legal restrictions.

All payments must be made through the payment and checkout solutions accepted by Nordkapp.NU. We reserve the right to reject, pause, stop or cancel an order where necessary to comply with applicable law, sanctions, export-control rules, payment-provider requirements or internal compliance procedures.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the buyer, payer, recipient, delivery address and intended use of the product. Products purchased from Nordkapp.NU must not be directly or indirectly re-exported, resold, transferred or made available in breach of applicable sanctions, export-control rules or other legal restrictions.

2. Shopping & payment

2.1 Product information

On each product page, we provide information about the product's main characteristics, such as dimensions, weight, material, colour, function, intended use, whether the product is delivered assembled or unassembled, what is included in the delivery, and any limitations that are important for its use.

If a product requires a particular base, assembly, specialist installation, a forklift, crane, lift or other unloading equipment, this is stated primarily on the product page and, where relevant, also in the order information. Many practical answers are also available in our FAQ. We continually improve our product information to make your choice as safe, simple and clear as possible, and our customer service team will be happy to help if you have any questions before purchasing.

If the term “zone” is used on a product page, it means the delivery or shipping zone. The delivery zone may affect the available delivery options, delivery time and shipping cost.

2.2 Prices and total cost

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Prices do not include payment or shipping fees. Any payment fees, shipping costs, discounts and other additional costs are shown separately at checkout before you complete your purchase.

The total price of your order is shown at checkout before you confirm your purchase.

If an offer is available for a limited time or is subject to special terms, this will be stated directly alongside the offer.

2.3 Orders and contracts

To make a purchase, you must have legal capacity to enter into a contract under Swedish law. Persons under the age of 18 may not purchase on credit or enter into a contract without the consent of a legal guardian.

Before completing your purchase, you will be able to review and change your details, delivery address, selected products, quantities, payment method and delivery method.

When you place an order on the website, you make an offer to purchase the products included in the order.

A binding contract is concluded when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation to the email address you provided when placing the order.

The order confirmation contains the order number, information about the products ordered, the price, shipping cost, chosen payment method and chosen delivery method, as well as a reference to the Terms and Conditions that apply to the purchase.

Depending on the technical design of our e-commerce platform and checkout solution, the purchase button at checkout may be labelled, for example, “COMPLETE PURCHASE”, “Order with obligation to pay”, “Pay for purchase” or another equivalent phrase. At Nordkapp.NU, clicking the purchase button confirms that you wish to place the order and that the order entails an obligation to pay.

This is stated at checkout before the purchase is completed. By clicking the purchase button, you confirm that you have reviewed your order and understand that it entails an obligation to pay.

If checkout is provided through Kustom Checkout, using the checkout and clicking the purchase or payment button confirms your intention to enter into a contract with Nordkapp.NU and, where stated at checkout, your acceptance of Kustom's Terms of Use and privacy information for Kustom Checkout.

We may reject an order before a contract has been concluded, for example if a product cannot be delivered, incorrect personal data has been provided or the customer is not approved for the chosen payment method.

2.4 Payment options

The available payment options are shown at checkout, on the invoice or in the payment portal before payment is made. The options offered may vary depending on order value, delivery country, customer type, product, chosen delivery solution, the payment provider's assessment and the payment methods offered by Nordkapp.NU at the time of purchase.

Nordkapp.NU does not offer Swish as a direct payment method in its own checkout. Swish may, however, be available as a payment option through an external payment provider, for example through Kustom Checkout, Fortnox Fakturaservice, an invoice link, QR code or payment portal, where offered by the relevant payment provider.

Kustom Checkout, formerly Klarna Checkout. Nordkapp.NU uses Kustom Checkout as its checkout solution where this is shown at checkout. Kustom Checkout is the checkout solution previously known as Klarna Checkout/KCO and is now provided by Kustom AB. The name Klarna Checkout may still appear in some parts of the website, older texts, technical systems, payment flows or customer communications. Where Klarna Checkout is mentioned in connection with the Nordkapp.NU checkout, it means the same checkout solution now called Kustom Checkout, unless expressly stated otherwise. Kustom Checkout supports and manages completion of your purchase, for example by presenting payment methods, shipping and delivery options and, if you choose or have previously provided such information, facilitating autofill at checkout.

Kustom Checkout is a separate checkout service. Your purchase of goods from Nordkapp.NU is governed by these Terms and Conditions. Your use of Kustom Checkout is governed by Kustom's own terms and privacy information. The payment method you choose at checkout may also be subject to separate terms issued by the relevant payment service provider.

By using Kustom Checkout and, where stated at checkout, clicking, for example, “Pay for purchase” or an equivalent purchase button, you accept Kustom's then-current Terms of Use and Privacy Notice for Kustom Checkout.

Fortnox Fakturaservice. For certain invoices, Nordkapp.NU may use Fortnox Fakturaservice as an invoice- and payment-related service. Fortnox Fakturaservice is the name used for Fortnox's invoice service, which may be provided within the Fortnox group by Fortnox AB, Fortnox Finans AB and/or their payment partners, depending on the payment or invoice solution used.

When Fortnox Fakturaservice is used, the invoice may be sent electronically or by another available method. Where offered, the customer may access a payment portal through a link or QR code on the invoice to view invoice details, payment options and other information relating to the invoice.

For private individuals, depending on the options offered for the relevant invoice and any assessment by Fortnox, Fortnox Finans AB or their payment partners, Fortnox Fakturaservice may allow payment by, for example, Swish, direct bank transfer, Pay Later or Instalment Payment. Business customers may be directed to pay using the details on the invoice, such as a Bankgiro number or other stated payment instructions.

Fortnox Fakturaservice is a separate invoice- and payment-related service. Your purchase of goods from Nordkapp.NU is governed by these Terms and Conditions. Use of Fortnox Fakturaservice, the Fortnox payment portal, Pay Later, Instalment Payment or other payment options offered through Fortnox may be subject to the then-current terms, privacy information and payment instructions of Fortnox and/or Fortnox Finans AB. More information is available from Fortnox, including on the Agreements and terms page, in Fortnox's information about Fakturaservice, in the Special Terms of Fortnox Finans and in Fortnox's Privacy Notice.

When using payment options through Fortnox Fakturaservice, for example through an invoice link, QR code or payment portal, you may need to accept the terms, payment instructions and privacy information displayed by Fortnox, Fortnox Finans AB or their payment partners in connection with the payment.

For invoices, Pay Later or Instalment Payment, a credit check or other payment assessment may be carried out by the payment provider or its payment partner. Any fees, interest, due date, payment plan, reminder fees and other terms are shown on the invoice, in the payment portal, at checkout or in the relevant payment provider's terms before payment is made.

Advance payment through online banking. If advance payment through online banking is offered at checkout, you pay the total order amount in advance by manual bank transfer to the Bankgiro number, bank account or IBAN specified by Nordkapp.NU in the payment instructions shown at checkout, in the order confirmation or in the payment request. You must state the order number or other specified payment reference so that the payment can be matched to the correct order.

The order is processed only after Nordkapp.NU has received and identified the payment. A bank transfer normally takes 1–3 banking days, depending on the bank, the time of payment, public holidays and whether the payment is made from a Swedish or foreign bank. Processing may be delayed if the correct payment reference is missing.

Depending on the options offered at checkout, on the invoice or in the payment portal at the time of purchase, payment may be made, for example, by card, invoice, instalment payment, direct payment, bank transfer, advance payment or Swish through an external payment provider.

Card payments and other electronic payments are processed through secure payment solutions. Where card details are processed, secure technology that enables the cardholder to be identified, such as 3D Secure, is used where applicable.

Nordkapp.NU does not store full card details.

2.5 Advance payment through online banking

If you choose advance payment through online banking, the total order amount must be paid in advance by bank transfer to the Bankgiro number, bank account or IBAN stated at checkout, in the order confirmation or in the payment request sent to the email address you provided when placing the order.

You must state the order number or other specified payment reference when paying. This is important so that Nordkapp.NU can identify the payment and match it to the correct order.

The order is processed only after Nordkapp.NU has received and confirmed the payment. Unless otherwise stated in the order confirmation or a separate written agreement, the delivery time is calculated from the first business day after the payment has been received and identified.

A bank transfer normally takes 1–3 banking days, depending on the bank, the time of payment, public holidays and whether the payment is made from a Swedish or foreign bank. Nordkapp.NU is not responsible for delays caused by the bank's processing, an incorrect payment reference or incomplete payment details.

If payment is not received within the period stated in the order confirmation or within a reasonable time after the order is placed, Nordkapp.NU may contact you with a payment reminder or cancel the order. If the order is cancelled due to non-payment, there is no obligation to deliver.

If an amount is paid in error or twice, or a refund is due, the refund will normally be made to the bank account from which the payment originated or to another account confirmed by the customer in writing in accordance with Nordkapp.NU's instructions. Nordkapp.NU may need to verify the details to ensure that the refund is made to the correct recipient.

2.6 Customer account

You may make a purchase with or without a customer account, where this is offered at checkout.

When registering a customer account or placing an order, you may be asked to provide certain personal data. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date.

As a registered and logged-in customer, you receive a 5% discount on your orders unless otherwise stated. The discount cannot be combined with other offers or discount codes. If several discounts could apply to the same product, checkout automatically calculates the option that is most favourable to you.

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and preventing unauthorised use. You must not disclose your username or password to anyone else.

Contact us immediately if you suspect that an unauthorised person has gained access to your customer account or login details. You are responsible for purchases made through your account until you have notified us of the suspected unauthorised use.

2.7 Discounts and offers

We may offer campaigns, discount codes, gifts and other offers. Such offers apply only for the period and on the terms stated in connection with the offer.

Unless otherwise stated, offers cannot be combined with other discounts.

Offers are valid while stocks last or for the period stated in the offer.

If an offer involves a price reduction, we communicate pricing information in accordance with applicable rules, including the lowest price during the previous 30 days where required by law.

2.8 Cancellation before delivery

You have the right to cancel an order for goods before they have been delivered.

If the cancellation concerns goods that have already begun to be manufactured, customised, packed or transported, we may be entitled to compensation for reasonable costs incurred before cancellation.

The right to cancel before delivery does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases.

2.9 Incorrect information, pricing errors and disclaimers

We reserve the right to correct obvious typographical or technical errors and manifestly incorrect prices or product information on the website.

If an error is obvious and you realised or should have realised that the information was incorrect, we may correct the error or reject the order before a contract has been concluded.

Once a contract has been concluded, we cannot unilaterally change the price, product, specification, delivery terms or other contractual content without your approval, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Product images on the website are for illustrative purposes. Colour, surface texture and natural variations may differ slightly from the image, particularly for products made of wood or other natural materials.

2.10 Refunds

When you exercise the right of withdrawal, we will refund the amount paid for the goods, including the standard shipping cost for the original delivery, within 14 days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard delivery, the difference will not be refunded.

Return shipping when exercising the right of withdrawal may be deducted from the refund where you are responsible for the return shipping under these Terms and Conditions.

The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the purchase, unless we expressly agree otherwise.

For an approved complaint, we will refund the amount to which you are legally entitled without undue delay after the complaint has been approved.

3. Delivery

3.1 Delivery options

The available standard delivery options are shown at checkout before the purchase is completed. The options offered may depend on the product's size and weight, the delivery address and postcode, accessibility, carrier availability and whether the product requires special handling.

The following delivery options may be available:

  • Delivery to a parcel collection point
For smaller parcels and products that can be handled by a collection point.
  • Home delivery with a tail lift
For palletised goods and certain larger products that can be delivered by truck and unloaded using a tail lift. Delivery is normally made to the property boundary, entrance, driveway or another place the carrier considers safe and accessible. Standard delivery does not cover deliveries that require special arrangements, transshipment to another vehicle, or where access is restricted by, for example, an environmental zone, axle-weight limits, narrow roads, local traffic regulations, limited turning space or other local conditions. For pallet delivery with a tail lift, the unloading area must be accessible, free of snow and have a hard surface such as asphalt or concrete, because unloading is performed with a hand pallet truck. If no such area is available, unloading may not always be possible. The customer is therefore responsible for planning receipt of the goods in advance.
  • Home delivery requiring customer-arranged unloading
For deliveries where the customer is responsible for unloading. The customer must ensure that suitable equipment, such as a forklift, lift, crane or equivalent, and authorised personnel are present at the agreed delivery time. Information about the product's weight and size is normally available on the product page or in the product specification and can be used to determine the equipment required. The carrier will normally provide advance notice of delivery. If the customer is unavailable or unloading cannot be completed at the agreed delivery time, the delivery may be returned to the terminal, carrier or us. In that event, the customer may be charged reasonable, actual costs for return transport, terminal handling, redelivery and administration.
  • Home delivery by crane truck
For larger and heavier products, such as fully assembled saunas, cabins or other bulky products. Crane-truck delivery can be offered only where the truck and crane truck can gain access and unloading can be carried out safely. All home deliveries are made to the address by a passable road. Only one unloading point is included unless expressly agreed otherwise. The customer must state the distance in metres from the nearest possible parking place for the truck to the final unloading point, for example in the “Order message” field or as otherwise instructed by us. If no distance is stated, we assume that it is no more than 15–17 metres. The maximum distance is normally 25 metres unless otherwise agreed. The crane-truck delivery charge is based on the assignment being completed within the time included in the transport solution, normally 3,5 hours. Additional time, or the need for a larger vehicle, longer crane time, different equipment or a special transport solution, may entail an additional charge. If the actual conditions at the location differ from the information provided by the customer, or if the customer has not provided the necessary information, the customer may be charged the reasonable, actual additional costs incurred. Contact us no later than one week after placing the order if you are unsure about distance, access or unloading conditions.
  • Special transport and special delivery solutions
For products or delivery addresses that require a special transport solution, special transport may be offered following a separate assessment. This may include, for example, delivery to a roof or courtyard using a special crane, delivery to islands by local ferry or boat, delivery to difficult-to-access locations or, in exceptional cases, helicopter transport. Special transport is not included in standard shipping unless expressly stated otherwise. The cost is calculated individually based on the product's size and weight, the delivery address, accessibility, the transport solution, local conditions and any need for special equipment. If special transport is required or requested, we will provide the customer with a separate price quote before booking transport. The transport charge is invoiced separately and must be paid in advance. The goods will not be dispatched until the customer has approved the separate transport charge and we have received payment.

If the delivery option is generated automatically, it is based on the product's weight and size, the delivery address and the available transport solutions.

Delivery to Gotland, islands, archipelago addresses and other addresses with special transport requirements is also governed by section 3.4, Delivery to islands, archipelagos and addresses with special transport requirements.

3.2 Delivery time

The delivery time is stated primarily on the product page and, where relevant, also in the order confirmation or a separate written agreement with the customer.

Unless otherwise stated, the following standard delivery times apply:

  • Smaller products, such as grills, sauna heaters, fireplaces and accessories: 2–3 weeks.
  • DIY saunas and kit products: 2–4 weeks. Delivery to northern or north-western Sweden: 3–5 weeks if the product would otherwise have a delivery time of 2–4 weeks.
  • Home delivery by crane truck: 3–5 weeks if the product would otherwise have a delivery time of 2–4 weeks.
  • Made-to-order goods and products manufactured to the customer's specific instructions: 4–8 weeks, including home delivery by crane truck, unless otherwise stated on the product page, in the order confirmation or in a separate written agreement.

The delivery time is normally calculated from the day on which we confirm the order.

If special terms apply to the order, such as special transport, a separately agreed delivery solution or specifically agreed advance payment, this will be stated in the order confirmation or in a separate written agreement with the customer. In such cases, the delivery time may be calculated from the day on which we receive the agreed payment.

If a product has a different delivery time from our standard delivery times, this is clearly stated on the product page, in the order confirmation or in a separate written agreement.

3.3 Delivery requirements and unloading

All deliveries are made to the address by a passable road.

For pallet delivery with a tail lift, the unloading area must be accessible, free of snow and have a hard surface such as asphalt or concrete, because unloading is performed with a hand pallet truck. If no such area is available, unloading may not always be possible.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, home delivery does not include carrying goods inside, assembly, removal of packaging or lifting goods to another location.

Only one unloading point is included unless otherwise stated.

If the customer has chosen home delivery requiring customer-arranged unloading, the customer is responsible for ensuring that suitable equipment, such as a forklift, lift or crane, is available at delivery. Weight and size information is provided in the product specification or by customer service.

For home delivery by crane truck, unloading is included on the terms stated on the product page or in the order confirmation. If the distance between the truck's possible parking place and the final unloading point affects the transport solution, the customer must inform us when placing the order or no later than one week afterwards. If the conditions at the location require a larger vehicle, longer crane time or another special solution, an additional charge may apply, but the customer will be informed before that additional cost is incurred.

Your role at delivery. To enable delivery, you as the customer must ensure that the delivery location is accessible, that someone can receive the delivery at the notified time and that any unloading can be carried out safely in accordance with the chosen delivery method.

  • Ensure that the road to the delivery location is accessible for the relevant vehicle.
  • Be available by telephone before and during delivery.
  • Ensure that an authorised person can receive the delivery and present identification if required.
  • Check the packaging, number of packages and any visible damage before signing for the delivery.

Do not schedule installation before the delivery has been inspected. We recommend that you do not book tradespeople, installation, an electrician or other external services until the delivery has been received and inspected and you have confirmed that all parts are complete and undamaged.

Nordkapp.NU does not reimburse costs for tradespeople, installation, waiting time, cancellation or other external expenses arising from delayed delivery, transport damage, an incomplete delivery or another circumstance beyond our direct control, except where required by mandatory law.

3.4 Delivery to islands, archipelagos and addresses with special transport requirements

Standard shipping and ordinary delivery options apply to addresses that can be reached by normal road transport and where the carrier can make the delivery safely and in a practically feasible manner.

For delivery to islands, archipelago addresses or other places where ordinary road transport is not possible, delivery may be made to a fixed address on the mainland, the nearest quay, port or terminal, or another agreed delivery point. This will be stated in the order confirmation or a separate written agreement with the customer. If the delivery point is a quay, port, terminal or fixed mainland address, the customer is responsible for onward transport from that point unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Standard road transport to Gotland is provided under the shipping terms applicable to the product, provided that the delivery address can be reached using the ordinary transport solution.

For addresses that require a special transport solution, special transport may be offered following a separate assessment. This may include, for example, delivery to islands by local ferry or boat, delivery to a roof or another difficult-to-access location using a special crane, delivery requiring special local transport, or helicopter transport.

Special transport is not included in standard shipping.

If special transport cannot be offered or the customer does not approve the separate transport charge, delivery may instead be made to the nearest possible delivery point using the ordinary transport solution, such as a fixed mainland address, quay, port or terminal.

3.5 Delivery not received or collected

If you are unavailable at the agreed delivery time or do not collect a delivery within the period stated by the carrier, the consignment may be returned to us or to the supplier.

In that event, we will contact you to agree on redelivery or cancellation of the order.

A delivery that is not received or collected does not in itself constitute exercise of the right of withdrawal. If you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must clearly notify us in accordance with the section on the right of withdrawal.

We may charge the reasonable, actual costs incurred because the delivery was not received or collected, such as return shipping, terminal handling, redelivery and administration.

Indicative costs:

  • Uncollected delivery to a parcel collection point: actual cost, up to a maximum of 750 kr.
  • Home delivery with a tail lift or home delivery requiring customer-arranged unloading not received: actual cost, up to a maximum of 7 500 kr.
  • Crane-truck home delivery not received: actual cost, up to a maximum of 12 500 kr.
  • Special transport and special delivery solutions: actual cost, up to a maximum of 20 000 kr.

For products manufactured to the customer's specific instructions, additional reasonable compensation may be charged if the product cannot be sold without a substantial reduction in value. Such compensation must be proportionate to the order value and the actual costs.

3.6 Delayed delivery

If we cannot deliver within the agreed delivery time, we will inform you without undue delay of the delay, its cause if known and a new delivery time.

If delivery is delayed, you have rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. You may be entitled to withhold payment, require performance of the contract or terminate the purchase contract if the delay is of material importance to you, or if you informed us before the purchase that delivery no later than a specified date was essential to the purchase.

If the delay results from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you, or from your failure to cooperate with the delivery, we are not responsible for the resulting consequences.

3.7 Transport damage and missing goods

If goods are damaged on delivery, the packaging is damaged or anything is missing from the delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.

We are responsible to you as a consumer for ensuring that the goods are delivered free from defects. You therefore do not need to pursue a claim against the carrier yourself in order to enforce your rights against us. Transport damage is handled as a complaint under section 5. Complaints & warranties.

To enable us to handle the matter quickly and pursue the damage claim with the carrier, it is very important that the damage is correctly documented upon receipt. If the packaging or goods are damaged on delivery, we therefore ask you, where possible, to document the damage immediately with clear photographs. If the damage is not documented upon receipt, it may be more difficult to establish whether it occurred during transport and to pursue the matter with the carrier. This does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer against us.

If there is visible damage, missing goods or a discrepancy in the number of packages at delivery, we ask you, where possible, to:

  • inspect the goods and packaging upon receipt,
  • photograph the damage, packaging, consignment note and preferably the entire consignment before the goods are moved or unpacked,
  • inform the driver immediately of the damage or discrepancy,
  • ask the carrier to record the damage on the consignment note, in the handheld device or in the carrier's system before you sign for the delivery, where possible,
  • retain a copy of the transport document showing the discrepancy,
  • contact us as soon as possible and include the order number, photographs of the damage, photographs of the packaging and a brief description of what happened.

If the damage is discovered only after unpacking, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering it. To give us the best opportunity to pursue the matter with the carrier, we ask you, where possible, to contact us within six working days of receipt. This is a practical time limit for the transport claim against the carrier and does not limit your statutory right to make a complaint against Nordkapp.NU.

A complaint made within two months after you discovered the defect is always considered to have been made within a reasonable time.

Until the matter has been assessed, please do not return, sell, assemble, use, repair or otherwise alter the damaged goods without first contacting us and awaiting our instructions. If the goods are altered or handled in a way that makes the damage more difficult to assess, this may affect the possibility of obtaining compensation from the carrier, under a warranty or otherwise. This does not limit your statutory rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act.

Always contact us as soon as possible if you are unsure how to deal with suspected transport damage. We will help you with the next steps.

4. Right of withdrawal & returns

4.1 Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. For the purchase of goods, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after you, or a person acting on your behalf, receive or collect the goods. If the purchase concerns several items or an item delivered in several parts, the withdrawal period begins on the day after you receive the final item or part. For service contracts, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify Nordkapp.NU within 14 days from the start of the withdrawal period. You may notify us by email, telephone or letter. For the quickest and most structured handling, we recommend using our “Right of Withdrawal” page, where you will find contact options, instructions and information about the details we need to process your request.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal. There you can create a structured withdrawal notice and see what information we need to handle the matter quickly.

You may also use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard withdrawal form, but this is not required.

Open the Right of Withdrawal page

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you notified us. The return address and instructions may vary depending on the product, its size and weight, and the transport solution. Please therefore await instructions from our customer service team before returning larger products, palletised goods or goods delivered by special transport.

If you contact us because goods are faulty or damaged, there is transport damage or an item is missing, the matter will be handled as a complaint under section 5. Complaints & warranties, not as a withdrawal.

Full contact details for Nordkapp.NU are available in section 1.1 Contracting party and contact details and on the Contact Us page.

4.2 Return address and return handling

Returns must be sent to the return address provided by our customer service team for the relevant return. The return address may vary depending on the product, supplier, weight, size and transport solution.

We recommend that you always contact customer service before returning larger products, palletised goods, crane-truck deliveries or goods delivered by special transport. We can then provide the correct return address, transport instructions and information on how the product should be packaged for return.

For faster handling, we recommend including the order number and your contact details with the return. If goods are sent to the wrong address or returned without prior contact, handling may be delayed and additional costs may arise, particularly for larger products, palletised goods or goods delivered by special transport.

If you have any questions, you can contact us using the details in section 1.1 Contracting party and contact details or through the Complaint Guide.

4.3 Return shipping when exercising the right of withdrawal

When exercising the right of withdrawal, you as the customer are responsible for the return shipping unless otherwise agreed.

For goods that cannot be returned by ordinary post, such as bulky products, palletised goods, a sauna, grill cabin, pavilion or larger kit, the return shipping cost depends on the product's size and weight, the collection address and the carrier.

Indicative return costs may vary depending on the product, its weight and size, and the transport solution:

  • Smaller parcels under 20 kg: actual cost, normally 350-750 kr.
  • Palletised goods: actual cost, normally 2 500-7 500 kr.
  • Crane-truck delivery: actual cost, normally 7 500-12 500 kr.
  • Bulky products or special transport: actual cost, normally 12 500-20 000 kr.

You will be informed of the applicable return cost when you contact customer service. The return shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.

We recommend returning the goods in their original packaging or other equivalent protective packaging. Original packaging is not, however, required to exercise the right of withdrawal unless the packaging is a necessary and clearly identifiable part of the product itself.

You have the right to examine the goods to the extent necessary to establish their characteristics and functioning. If you have handled the goods beyond what is necessary and their value has diminished, Nordkapp.NU may deduct the reduction in value from the refund.

You are responsible for damage occurring during return transport only where the damage is caused by your negligence, for example inadequate packaging, incorrect addressing or a manifestly unsuitable choice of carrier.

4.4 Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This includes, for example, products made to order using dimensions, materials or specifications that are not among our standard options on the website.

The right of withdrawal is not normally excluded merely because a product is large, bulky or fully assembled. If a product is excluded from the right of withdrawal, we will clearly inform you on the product page or before the purchase is completed.

The right of withdrawal may also be excluded for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been broken after delivery. This may include hygiene products, personal-care products, fragrances, sauna aromas, essential oils, sauna whisks, sauna hats, bathing and sauna clothing, seat towels, pefletti or similar products, provided that the product was delivered sealed and the seal has been broken.

If a product is subject to an exception from the right of withdrawal, this will be stated before the purchase is completed. If you are unsure whether a product is covered by the right of withdrawal or an exception, you may contact us before completing the purchase or returning the product.

5. Complaints & warranties

5.1 Complaints

As a consumer, you have the right to make a complaint if goods are defective under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. You may also contact us to exercise your rights in the event of delayed delivery.

The statutory right to make a complaint is not the same as the right of withdrawal or a warranty. It arises by law and applies whether or not the product is covered by a warranty. Any warranty provided by Nordkapp.NU, the manufacturer or the supplier does not affect your statutory rights.

The right to make a complaint applies to defects that become apparent within three years after you received the goods, provided that the defect is one for which the seller is responsible under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. You must complain within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the defect. A complaint made within two months after you discovered the defect is always considered to have been made within a reasonable time. A claim arising from a defect must be made within two months after the end of the three-year period, unless a longer period applies by law or contract.

International purchases and complaints. Nordkapp e-Com AB is a Swedish company, and these Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

For private customers. If you purchase as a private individual and live in another country, and mandatory consumer-protection rules in that country provide stronger protection and apply to the purchase, these Terms and Conditions do not affect those rights. Within the EU, consumers always have at least a two-year legal guarantee for goods that are defective, do not work as described or do not meet what the customer is entitled to expect. In some countries, the customer's rights may apply for longer or be more extensive. You can read more about legal guarantees and commercial warranties in different European countries on Your Europe.

For business customers. If the purchase is made by a company, organisation or other professional buyer, these Terms and Conditions, the order confirmation and any written agreement between the parties apply in the first instance. A business customer's right to make a complaint is assessed under the applicable contract and sales law, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Consumer-protection rules, such as the right of withdrawal under distance-selling rules and rules specifically governing consumer purchases, do not normally apply to business purchases.

What may constitute a defect? Goods may be defective if they are broken, deficient or function poorly; if they do not correspond to the information on the website or in the order information; if they are delivered in the wrong colour, size or version; if they lack a function included in the description; if they cannot be used for their normal purpose; or if necessary instructions for use or care are missing or cannot be understood.

For goods to be considered defective, the defect must normally have existed at the time of delivery. This means that it was already present when you purchased or received the goods, even if it becomes apparent only later. Goods are not normally considered defective if the problem results from damage caused by you, incorrect use, assembly contrary to the instructions or failure to follow the product's care instructions.

For an approved complaint, you may by law be entitled to repair or another remedy, replacement, a price reduction, termination of the purchase contract and/or compensation for damage under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. In the first instance, the defect can often be addressed through repair, supply of missing parts, a spare part, another remedy or replacement, depending on the nature of the defect, the type of product and what is possible and reasonable in the circumstances.

If the defect is serious or cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, a price reduction or termination of the purchase contract may be available by law. Upon termination, the purchase is reversed: you return the goods and receive a refund in accordance with the applicable rules. The refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless we agree otherwise.

How to make a complaint. For the quickest and most structured handling, we recommend using our Complaint Guide. There you can see what information we need and create a ready-to-send email with a standardised subject line. This makes it easier for us to structure the matter. Please provide the order number, what you purchased, when the purchase was made, a clear description of the defect, photographs or other evidence showing the defect, and the remedy you request. If you claim reimbursement of costs, please attach a receipt, invoice or other evidence showing the cost and its connection to the defect.

Open the Complaint Guide

If the defect is difficult to show in a photograph or video, you may instead describe it as clearly as possible when contacting us. If you use a contact form, we recommend retaining a copy, for example by taking a screenshot of what you submit.

You do not always need to provide a receipt to make a complaint, but you must be able to show when the purchase was made, that the product was purchased from Nordkapp.NU and the price paid. This may be shown by an order confirmation, invoice, proof of payment, bank statement or other documentation. If several items were purchased at the same time, more detailed documentation may be required to identify the item concerned by the complaint.

You retain the right to make a complaint if you no longer have the original packaging. If goods need to be returned or examined, however, we recommend packaging them in a way that protects them during transport.

If goods need to be returned as part of a complaint, await instructions from our customer service team before sending them back. The return address and transport solution may vary depending on the product's size and weight, the supplier and the type of defect concerned. For an approved complaint, Nordkapp.NU will pay the return shipping and the costs that you are legally entitled to have reimbursed.

If an examination or troubleshooting is required to assess the defect, we will inform you. If the complaint is not approved and it is established that Nordkapp.NU is not responsible for the problem, you may in some cases be required to pay reasonable costs for examination, return shipping or other handling. You will be informed before any such costs are incurred.

If you believe that you are entitled to withhold all or part of the payment because of a defect, you must notify Nordkapp.NU in writing and explain why. If the purchase was made on credit, by invoice or through instalment payments, you may also need to contact the relevant payment or credit provider. This does not limit your statutory rights.

Assembly of goods does not affect your statutory right to make a complaint. If the defect should have been discovered before assembly, however, this may affect the assessment of any compensation for consequential costs. Always contact our customer service team as soon as possible if you suspect that goods are defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered.

Full contact details for Nordkapp.NU are available in section 1.1 Contracting party and contact details and on the Contact Us page.

5.2 Transport damage

Transport damage, damaged packaging, visible damage, concealed damage and missing goods are handled as complaints.

Transport damage or missing goods? Please use our Complaint Guide to structure the matter. It helps us quickly identify the order number, type of damage, documentation, consignment note and requested remedy.

Open the Complaint Guide

If goods are damaged on delivery, the packaging is damaged or anything is missing from the delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. Nordkapp.NU is responsible to you as a consumer for ensuring that the goods are delivered free from defects. You therefore do not need to pursue a claim against the carrier yourself in order to enforce your rights against us.

To enable us to handle the matter quickly and pursue the damage claim with the carrier, it is important that the damage or discrepancy is correctly documented upon receipt. Please photograph the damage, packaging, consignment note and entire consignment before the goods are moved, assembled or unpacked more than necessary. Where possible, inform the carrier immediately and have the damage or discrepancy recorded on the consignment note, in the handheld device or in the carrier's system before you sign for the delivery.

More detailed information on documenting transport damage, visible damage, concealed damage and missing goods is provided in section 3.7 Transport damage and missing goods.

Transport damage is assessed under the complaint rules and in accordance with your rights as a consumer.

5.3 Warranties

Certain products may be covered by a warranty from the manufacturer, supplier or Nordkapp.NU. If a product is covered by a warranty, this will be stated on the product page, in the product documentation, in the order information or in the warranty terms supplied with the product.

A warranty is a voluntary undertaking and is not the same as the statutory right to make a complaint. It does not affect your rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. You always have the right to complain about defective goods in accordance with the law, whether or not the product is covered by a warranty.

Where a warranty is provided, its coverage, duration, terms and the procedure for making a warranty claim will be stated. Depending on the product and the warranty provider, the warranty may, for example, be limited to certain parts of the product, manufacturing defects or material defects.

Unless the specific warranty terms state otherwise, a warranty does not normally cover damage caused by incorrect assembly or installation, abnormal use, inadequate maintenance, external influences, unauthorised repair, modification of the product or use contrary to the product instructions.

Would you like to make a warranty claim? For the quickest and most structured handling, we recommend using our Complaint Guide. Please provide the order number and a description of the defect, and attach photographs or other documentation that will help us assess the matter.

Open the Complaint Guide

If the matter concerns transport damage, damaged packaging or missing goods, please also follow the instructions in section 3.7 Transport damage and missing goods and section 5.2 Transport damage.

Until a warranty claim has been assessed, please await instructions from our customer service team before returning, assembling, repairing, modifying or otherwise handling the product. This enables us, the manufacturer or the supplier to assess the defect correctly.

For an approved statutory complaint, Nordkapp.NU will pay the costs that you are legally entitled to have reimbursed. Separate warranty terms may apply to a warranty claim that is not covered by the statutory right to make a complaint.

If a warranty claim or complaint is not approved, you may, where applicable and reasonable, be required to pay the costs of return shipping, examination or other handling. You will be informed before any such costs are incurred.

The processing is governed by a data processing agreement and may take place only on our documented instructions.

When you use Kustom Checkout, Kustom AB may process personal data as an independent controller for the parts of the checkout service provided by Kustom. Kustom's processing of personal data is described in Kustom's own Privacy Notice. Processing by the payment service provider you choose at checkout may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy information.

When Fortnox Fakturaservice is used, Fortnox AB, Fortnox Finans AB and/or their payment partners may process personal data to manage invoices, the payment portal, payment options, credit checks, payment assessments, payment status, reminders, debt collection or other measures arising from the chosen payment solution and applicable terms. In some respects, Fortnox Finans AB may process personal data as an independent controller. More information is available in Fortnox's then-current Privacy Notice and in the Special Terms of Fortnox Finans.

6.6 Transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA

We aim to process personal data within the EU/EEA. In some cases, personal data may be processed or made available in countries outside the EU/EEA, for example where we use technical providers, analytics tools, marketing services, or payment and IT services with international infrastructure.

If personal data is transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that the transfer is based on applicable safeguards under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Our cookie list below states whether personal data may be shared with third parties or transferred to countries or regions outside the EU/EEA through the use of cookies or similar technologies.

6.7 How we protect personal data

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, misuse or unlawful disclosure.

These measures may include access controls, password protection, an encrypted website, restricted access to systems, security procedures, logging and internal instructions for handling personal data.

Nordkapp.NU uses HTTPS to protect information transmitted through the website.

6.8 Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to receive information about how we process your personal data. You also have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of access - You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we process personal data about you and, if so, to receive a copy of the data and information about the processing.
  • Right to rectification - You have the right to request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure - In certain cases, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data. We may, however, need to retain certain data where required by law, for example under accounting rules or consumer-law obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • Right to restriction of processing - In certain cases, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data, for example if you believe that the data is inaccurate or if you have objected to the processing.
  • Right to object - You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You always have the right to object to direct marketing.

6.9 How to exercise your rights

Send a GDPR request by email

We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours on weekdays excluding public holidays. We will respond without undue delay and no later than one month after receiving your request. Where necessary, this period may be extended by a further two months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. If we extend the period, we will inform you within the first month and explain the reason for the extension.

To protect your personal data, we may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

6.10 Cookies and similar technologies

Nordkapp.NU uses cookies and similar technologies on the website.

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser or on your device when you visit a website. Cookies can be used to make the website work, remember what you have placed in your basket, manage language and customer settings, complete purchases, measure how the website is used and display relevant marketing.

In this information, “cookies” also includes similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and other technologies that store information in or retrieve information from your browser or device.

6.11 The types of cookies we use

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies - These cookies are required for the website to work and for you to use basic functions such as the basket, checkout, login, language selection, security and cookie settings. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our cookie controls because the website will not work correctly without them.
  • Functional cookies - These cookies remember choices you have made, such as language, country, customer type or other settings that improve your experience on the website.
  • Analytics and statistics cookies - These cookies help us understand how the website is used, which pages are visited, how visitors navigate and how we can improve the website, our product range and the customer experience.
  • Marketing cookies - These cookies are used to display more relevant marketing, measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, in some cases, create audiences or enable remarketing based on how the website is used.
  • Third-party cookies - Some cookies may be set by our partners, such as payment providers, analytics tools, marketing platforms or social media services. These parties may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6.12 Consent to cookies

When you visit the website, you can choose which cookies to accept. You may accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or make your own choices by category, where offered by our consent manager.

Essential cookies are used without consent because they are required for the website and the services you request to function. Analytics, statistics, functional and marketing cookies are used only where there is an applicable legal basis, such as your consent.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Change cookie settings function on the website, for example in the footer or cookie manager.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, website functions such as the basket and checkout may stop working correctly.

7.3 Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. For private customers in other countries, this does not affect mandatory consumer-protection rules that provide stronger protection and apply to the purchase. For business customers, these Terms and Conditions, the order confirmation and any written agreement between the parties apply in the first instance, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

7.4 Force majeure and circumstances beyond our control

If delivery or performance is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you without undue delay.

This section does not affect your rights in the event of delay under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act.

We are not liable to pay damages for delay if we can show that the delay is due to an impediment beyond our control that we could not reasonably have been expected to foresee at the time of purchase and whose consequences we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
