How does a wood-burning stove work?

A wood-burning stove is installed in much the same way as an electric or gas heater, but requires a chimney for adequate ventilation of the smoke. Even though the fire is a convective heat source in itself, it should still be loaded with stones, as this allows the heat to spread better. If possible, the wood stove should also be vented to the outside of the sauna. You don't want the people in the sauna to compete with the fire for oxygen. The wood-burning stove should ideally be able to heat the entire sauna to a temperature of 60-90°C.
