The round shape also helps the heater to heat up the sauna faster and more efficiently. By not having unused spaces such as angles and slopes, you achieve a much better and natural circulation of the hot air.

With us at Nordkapp.NU you also have the opportunity to create and design your own unique sauna barrel. To meet all needs and wishes, we have a wide range of solutions and options. For example, you can choose the length and material of the sauna, with or without a terrace and several options for paint colors. Build your own sauna is pre-assembled and delivered to your door.

Delivery time: All manufacturing goods that are personalized such as sauna barrels "build your own sauna barrel", fully assembled saunas and camping cabins are produced according to each individual order and therefore have a slightly longer delivery time. Including home delivery by crane, the delivery time is about 8-10 weeks from the order confirmation date.

Home delivery: It is important that you as a customer plan the receipt of the goods in advance. As standard for home delivery, this is carried out by a 7.5-floor meter long truck, unless otherwise requested in your order. Home delivery does not include shipments restricted by environmental zone, axle load, narrow roads or any unloading complications in your area, local traffic regulations or limited accessibility and necessity of transshipment to another vehicle for loading or unloading.

Unloading: This sauna is delivered unpainted but fully assembled. For all home deliveries, transportation to the address is by road. The sauna can NOT be unloaded via the back of the truck, therefore you as a customer must provide a lift or truck for unloading. Another alternative is to order "Home delivery by crane truck" at checkout. If you choose unloading by crane truck, please enter the number of meters from the nearest possible parking where the truck can stop to the final unloading location in the "order message" field. If this is not specified, we calculate that the distance is a maximum of 12-15 meters. If the distance then turns out to be longer, a larger car is required for unloading, contact us no later than one week after placing the order to confirm this, otherwise you as a customer will be invoiced this extra cost for delivery and unloading. The maximum distance from the parking lot where the truck can stop to the final unloading location is limited by 25 meters.

Building permit: This type of building is not normally subject to a building permit, but falls under the category of sheds and is therefore by its nature exempt from building permits. However, as usual, you must comply with the rules of the Planning and Building Act (PBL). To be on the safe side, it is always good to check what applies in your particular municipality. There may be special regulations with restrictions on proximity to plot boundaries, etc. If you have questions about building permits, we recommend that you contact your municipality's urban planning office, as local deviations are common.
